I have some exciting news and can't wait to share with you what God has planned for 2024! The new year is off to a great start, and God is doing great things!
Zambia Mission Trip
As of this month, I have officially signed up and been accepted to attend AMT (Advanced Missionary Training) with Overland Missions. AMT is a three-month course designed to equip missions minded believers with the necessary tools to take the Gospel anywhere in the world and make a sustainable impact. It is also the gateway to enter a full time missions career with Overland Missions. The course consists of 13 subjects that are a mixture of classroom learning and practical field exercises. The class is split into two phases, the first phase is six weeks spent in Zambia at the International Logistical Base and the second phase is in one of their other international bases. For my second phase I have chosen to stay in Zambia and will be there for the full time. Totaling to three months, I will live fully immersed in a missions style environment with full-time missionaries. Every day I will be surrounded in an environment that encourages me towards the Lord and gives me a rich new perspective of being a missionary. Once completed, I will be fully equipped and ready to serve full-time as a missionary.
I am so excited for this opportunity and am trusting God every step of the way. My journey begins May 8th, and I am believing God to be able to raise $8,000 to cover the costs. This will cover class expenses, transportation in country, lodging, food, airfare, and visa costs. You can help me by partnering with me in prayer and finances for this training. Vision for the Future
After my 3 months in Zambia are over, I am looking at joining Overland Missions and becoming a full time missionary with them overseas. Currently I am praying about a country for God to place on my heart and have an interest to serve in a South American or African country ministering to unreached people groups. The training I receive in Zambia will prepare and launch me into full time ministry and enable me to become an ambassador for Christ. I appreciate your continued prayers as I follow the guidance of the Lord and continue to pray about what next steps to take. I am excited and expectant for what the Lord has planned in the near future.
