Fundraising Update

A couple weeks ago, I took a fundraising trip to New York to thank some supporters and created connections with potential prayer supporters and donors. The Lord provided so many strong connections and a few donations to put towards my Zambia fund. As of now I am currently 40% funded for my trip to Zambia! Praise the Lord! I trust that the Lord will continue to provide everything I need for Zambia before my trip begins August 25th.

While in New York, I had the opportunity to reunite with a friend God brought along my path when I came back from Honduras. While on the plane returning home, a nice Christian lady sat next to me. We were both quiet for some of the flight, but towards the end we started conversing and talked about missions, ministry, and church. I shared with her my missions experience and she shared what she was studying in her bible study. She was coming to Florida to visit family at the time and enjoy a nice vacation before returning home to New York. Two years later, I came to visit her in New York and thank her study group for their recent support towards the Zambia trip. She also showed me around the city and helped connect me with her church and other friends of hers that were interested in my ministry. It was a such a blessing to be invited to her home and introduced to so many lovely people!

Vision For the Future

After my 3 months in Zambia are over, I am looking at joining Overland Missions and becoming a full time missionary with them overseas. Currently I am praying about a country for God to place on my heart and have an interest to serve in a South American or African country ministering to unreached people groups. The training I receive in Zambia will prepare and launch me into full time ministry and enable me to become an ambassador for Christ. I appreciate your continued prayers as I follow the guidance of the Lord and continue to pray about what next steps to take. I am excited and expectant for what the Lord has planned in the near future.
